Raquel Aponte, la Coordinadora de Study Abroad de Columbus State University visita la Universidad Internacional y con ello, se amplían las posibilidades para los estudiantes de ambas instituciones. Sin duda, ha sido una semana muy productiva, como la misma Raquel lo comenta:

«To say that I love Mexico is an understatement. Mexico is my heart, Mexico runs in my veins. And everytime I come home to my Mexico, I feel a sense of pride, not only in my own heritage or my family’s legacy, but in the people of this beautiful country. Mis paisanos.

I came to visit the Universidad Internacional Uninter to learn more about everything they have to offer and while the list of opportunities is vast for our students here at Study Abroad at Columbus State University, the most important thing I come home with is the knowledge that every single person at that university has such passion and devotion to student success. They do it with Mexican passion!

And there is no way to explain it, you can only feel it. And you can see how happy the students are in this academic environment! One of CSU’s students is there this semester and I got to sit and talk with her about her experience so far, and she could not stop smiling as she told me how amazing this opportunity has been for her. This is why I love international education!

I look forward to bringing everything that I’ve learned back to my home institution so that we can create more amazing opportunities for our students to study abroad! With Mexican passion!«
